But if not China, you'll notice Vietnam, Mexico, Indonesia, Guatemala etc. Sad but true. **Q: Does anyone know how to remove the popcorn odor after use? I hand wash the bowl really well with dish soap but doesn't remove the odor. Ugh!** A: One of the BEST deodorizers is plain, whole coffee beans. Toss some inexpensive whole beans in the popper, add the lid and leave for a day or two. That should remove "popcorn smell". I keep a stash of coffee beans to deodorize empty coolers, refrigerator, new plastic storage tubs, etc. & they are reusable! **Q: I tried to repopulate kernels that didn’t pop in batch and burned the bottom of the container. Will this affect performance’** A: (Directions say you can pop the unpopped kernels. I tried it and not one of them popped.) I have also burned a batch in the past.
