I remember seeing Prine's fourth album in the record racks in the seventies when I did not enjoy "country music". Four decades later I discovered what I'd been missing all these years. A masterful story teller in his song writing. I don't understand poetry well and John's "poetry" is sophisticatedly* straight forward.This is a two CD set of John's first four albums. I'll take that. Less room, more music.Masterful, simply masterful.* Not a word.

This set is the only way to get remastered versions of the first four JP albums.  The Australian company that issued it, Raven Records, is now defunct, and there will be no more pressings.
