It doesn’t include the trains or the train cards. **Q: age recommended** A: We have all of the versions of TTR now. My husband said our grandson was about 9 when they started. He got it about 2 Christmases ago. The 2 of them quickly learned the game and strategy. Each game lasts about 45-60 min. That is one thing that interested my husband when we selected it. Our grandson has learned quickly and has learned so much about geography. Some of the games even have an extension set. The quality of the games is excellent. We started with TTR USA. There are no train tickets that come with the India map, however, so you have to own one of the other ticket to ride games in order to play and use those train cards. This map only comes with the new train routes.
