So, I THINK the probkem is it is just ever so slightly off balance. NOT a problem at all for me, since I just use it to cluster all my flavored cooking oils in bottles on it, in the corner of my countertop, so I can rotate it to easily reach the ones in back.Also, I bought it anticipating making an amateur layered cake on it, and using the rotating feature of the lazy susan to make frosting it smoothly a little easier.
