My favorite product has been Maintamer by ISO (which looks to be discontinued). Maintamer was great, as it was the Straightener/Neutralizer, not bad on order, and would soften my curl/frizz to make doing my hair manageable. I saw the Phyto Phytorelaxer and the reviews were positive so I thought I would give it try. It is a bit pricey, but if you use it correctly you can get more than one use out of it. This does have more products then the Maintamer (two products need to be mixed together, shampoo, then reconstructer. My best friend is a professional hairdresser, who is licensed, did my hair for me. I HIGHLY SUGGEST if you purchase this product, have a someone professional or someone who is familiar with working with relaxer to help you apply the product. I know people try to do this themselves wind up doing it incorrectly (this product has a few steps more than the previous Maintamer) and wind up doing damage to their hair. The odor is minimal which I liked, and the shampoo provided to wash out the product smelled nice. My friend who did my hair liked there was reconstructer provided to help seal the hair and protect against damage. This is a great product to help people with ethnic hair to keep it manageable and reduce frizz. Just make sure you follow the instructions given.
