- An ideal roaster for a household with up to 6 people. The volume of 3.7 quarts (3.5 liters) allows you to prepare great roasts, casseroles and stews. It is also perfect for baking bread.
- The base of the roaster is glazed, which allows effortless cleaning. It is oven and microwave safe and can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Crafted from all-natural clay material, Römertopf clay roasters are made without Lead, Cadmium, or fillers. They have undergone safety testing in both Europe and the USA to ensure compliance.
- We recommend soaking the unglazed lid of the roaster in water before use. During cooking, the water will evaporate and a mantle of steam will be created. The lid is intentionally designed to allow some of the steam to escape, so it is not a tight fit.
- Outer dimensions of the roaster measures 13.4 inches in length, 10.2 inches in width, and 7.5 inches in height. Comes with a lid and a bottom.
