Follow up with probiotics. *by A***R on September 21, 2016* Garden of Life Raw Probiotics Ultimate Care, 30 Count You can't meet all your health needs through nutrition & diet alone. While I recommend foods containing probiotics such as yogurt, sauerkraut and kombucha, supplements provide greater diversity and do far more to restore gut health. Our digestive system hosts literally thousands of different species of live beneficial bacteria. Most products fall far short of replicating natural conditions in the gut. Antibiotics destroy all bacteria, including the beneficial bacteria we need for immunity. If you have recently finished taking antibiotics I highly recommend supplementation with probiotics to restore healthy bacteria. What I like about this particular product is the increased variety of species compared to cheaper probiotics supplements that include insufficient diversity. The diversity is what helps create a healthier gut and enhances our immune systems so it is worth the extra money. It goes without saying that this is a non-GMO product.
