**Q: I just got an answer from michael which was so helpful. so i found a 3v battery on amazon, can i hook it up to the lights? or how would that work?**
A: The LEDs in the lights work on approximately 3v DC.  Yes a 3v battery would work but you would have to replace the battery occasionally depending on how often you illuminated the lights. A better solution is to use a 12 volt DC power supply with a 1000 ohm resistor for each light when you wire them up. Remember that LEDs are polarity sensitive and must have the (+) power lead to the (+) LED lead and negative power lead to the (-) LED lead.  Use a check set (OHM meter) to determine the proper polarity of the power source. Connect the resistor to the positive LED lead and the other end of the resistor to the positive power source.

A: Mine are fairly new and are working at the moment

A: Sorry,no.
