But it really isn't better, when full the zip is severely strained, this doesn't happen with the 400 size case. So, having bought 2 of this 320 size I have had to buy a third case of the larger size and will have to remove at least 100 from each of the smaller cases and move them over to the bigger case. If you put the cd booklet in each slot then you definitely would be better getting the larger size. However if you are using them for dvds, which have minimum paper additions, then yes, I reckon you probably could use 300 slots without difficulty in this size case. The cases themselves are brilliant, just as good as more expensive ones. The slots are sturdy and roomy and, if you are short of storage space, then these make a huge difference.
