Product description As we all know, batteries naturally drain power and if allowed to go flat, may never regain their full power. This product is a solar powered battery maintainer and charger for 12V batteries and helps manage battery drain in all season. The solar charger converts light energy from the sun into 12 volt DC electricity which is then transported to the rechargeable batteries through lead wire and connector of choice, replace the self-discharge of a battery in storage, so that the battery wouldn't "go dead". It can be used for cars, 4WD’s, trucks, motorcycle, marine, boats, farm equipment or any application where a 12V battery is used. The high efficient solar panel allows to absorb a wider spectrum of the sun light, as long as there is sufficient sunlight available, the charger will generate an electrical current to trickle charge battery. The charger is built in the most super intelligent MPPT(Maximum Power Power Tracking) chip to intelligently charge and fully protect battery. Review: Suner Power 12W 12V Solar Battery charger Pro - 2 month review - I have a late model 5th gen 4Runner, purchased new. It isn't driven very often: after two years, it has amassed a whopping 3000 miles :) Great vehicle for me, but unfortunately, the telematics on this vehicle (SOS button, auto dial in the event of a serious crash, etc.) pre-dispose it to parasitic battery drain. This is a common problem for these vehicles if driven infrequently, a Toyota problem; my 15 yr old Ford P/U has similar telematic features but cranks without fail, even though it gets the same intermittent use. After replacing the battery twice on a virtually new car, I tried this solar charger. I've had it going on three months now. I leave it connected to the terminals and disconnect it quickly, using the quick disconnect lead included by the manufacturer. It stores easily in the seat pocket behind the driver seat. Compact, weatherproof and durable with nothing to switch on/off, it comes with an led indicator to show what it's doing once connected. Blinking green shows 'ready' and blinking red indicates current is flowing to the battery. Circuitry prevents over charging. As simple as that to use. I monitor the charging performance and battery state using an Ancel BM300 Bluetooth Battery Monitor ($35 on desertcart) which sends info to my cell phone at designated intervals or on demand. The battery is always topped off and ready to go. Problem solved. The desertcart listing shows suction cups that permit sticking the panel to a suitable surface while in use. I affixed four coin-sized magnets to the reverse side which secures it to the hood or roof when in my driveway. A: Max 0.27Amps for 5W; 0.56amps for 10w and 0.67amps for 12w

**Q: I plan on connecting this to our tractor full time. Can i still drive it without disconnecting it?**
A: Absolutely! Mine stays connected to my truck battery all the time and it works great! I live on an island and there are gaps between driving so this keeps my battery charged and ready when I get back to the island. I liked it so much I bought one for each of my vehicles.

**Q: Does this require a battery tender. I have a couple other solar charger which must have a tender to prevent overcharging**
A: Unlike other regular solar charger, the solar charger was built-in intelligent mppt charge controller chip to prevent over charge, over voltage, short circuit, no addtional battery tender is required.

**Q: The indicator light turned off and and it is almost dark. Does this mean**
A: The LED indicator is powered by sunlight, it will not come on if sunlight is not sufficient. Expose the solar panel to full sun, see if the light comes on? If not, pls get back to our support team thru email support@sunerpower.com
