I have seen some knock stars of these Estes parachutes here on Amazon because they are plastic and not nylon - first off, if they were Nylon, they would not be $1.99, second these parachutes are not advertised as nylon, so there should be no disappointment. Sure, nylon parachutes are better, but I am putting these in a $10-$20 Estes rocket, and this parachute does the job and is the right price. I might use nylon if the rocket was more $$$.
