It handles well with a small trolling motor, and is quite stable for a little boat. Just put the battery at the bottom of the seat, in between your legs. The oars and the side railings work good, but I wouldn't want to row it for a long distance. The only thing you have to watch on this well built little boat is trolling the boat too fast going backwards. The back compartments (behind the seat) will fill up with water from water splashing up and into the boat. You can go forward as fast as the boat can handle with no problems. All in all this is a solid little boat, built to very good standards. It's rugged and sturdy. I'd recommend it for people that want to fish ponds and small lakes. You have enough room for a tackle box, small cooler, a couple of poles, and your trolling motor and battery. With the oars on the boat, it gets pretty cramped, but it's still manageable. Does not take much power to push the pitt boss 30lb thrust is plenty. **Q: Does it fit in SUV(rav4) trunk?** A: I know it fits in the back of a Toyota Prius with the back seats down so it would likely fit in a Toyota SUV with the back seats down but not for certain. **Q: does rainwater drain if tied to a dock or somewhere?** A: Yes, you can easily drain water out of the boat if it happens to get inside. The boat is hollow so if water manages to get in you can lean it up against a wall and let it run out. You will need to drill a small hole in each corner of the back end of the boat to drain and then seal them after draining any water out and you’re back in business. You could also drill a larger, say 1/2" hole and cap it with a cap or plug from the hardware store.
