One thing to be aware of, and I do not think this is easy to relay without physically holding the product is that the radius of the point/corners is quite large so one may need to do a significant amount of rounding out the corners to get a good fit. I don't want them hanging over and blocking my access to the back of the enclosed cab.** A: You should be fine. I used them on a 1/2" plywood cabinet and they do not interfere with the front or back plates coming off. **Q: What is the thickness of the metal these are made of?** A: About 18 gauge or so. Thick enough to be sturdy. **Q: The cabinet corners are not square. What product closes the gap betwen the hole in the corern and the side of the cabinet?** A: A router with a 1/2 inch round over bit. They are not designed for squared off corners. **Q: Has anyone ever compared these for exact size match to avatar speaker cab chrome corners? these look to be the same exact shape and size.** A: I am not familiar with the avatar speaker cabinets but what I found on the chrome corners I replaced with these powder coated corners was that they were close enough that I could use a rubber mallet to make them fit. The fit was not exact and I used a drill to create new holes where the old screw holes didn't line up. I was financially compensated from the retailer to avoid having to ship the amp back in the tattered box. The amp was completely functional from what I could tell. I then ordered these corners since they looked exactly the same. They fit perfectly in the existing screw holes and you cannot tell that they are replacements other than the originals had a smoother finish. They are very well made and I am very happy with my purchase.
