Snorkeled every day for a week in Kauai. Worked great - no problems - clear as a bell. My old mask had side windows (I used to call them "shark" windows because I was hoping the side windows would help me see a shark coming at me). I've never seen a shark before but I did see a small reef shark on this trip. So, the mask works just as well without the side windows. My only gripe is that it took a long time to ship.
