You have to understand that the shades you get are very gradual. So it might take a few applications to get your chosen shade. Don't give up, just keep doing it until you get there. I'm glad it's gradual. Wouldn't want a shade lighter than I wanted. Patience is a virtue here! Thoroughly recommend this. Don't buy the expensive similar products. It’s a gentle product and it does take some time to lighten the hairs, but the instructions are very clear about that. My natural eyebrows are very dark brown and I was able to lighten them to a copper/ orange tone. It finally matched with my ginger hair. No irritation or anything and I do have a sensitive skin.
