Testing these on MOCA heart immediately after their calibration procedure produced wildly different blood pressure AND heart rate values +/- up to 50% of my readings on the Omron just moments before. Knowing this, why would one trust the pulse wave velocity accuracy ( which is basically meaningless because measurements are reported in their proprietary MOCA index not subject to verification) or for that matter even the precision of the their MOCA index. I am concerned about hardening of the arteries which should impact the pulse wave velocity; I was hoping to see how exercise and medicine might improve the PWV over time. This product does not report PWV in scientific terms so it is impossible to verify at your doctors office. If you have heart issues that you're concerned about -a fortune teller would probably be more trustworthy than this beautifully packaged , elegant form factor design, shiny bright, sham of a device. ### ⭐⭐ Elegantly designed but hit or miss *by J***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2020* Its a pretty device but its a hit or miss.App to Device recognition - great for initial use (first power on). However, if you want to do another reading either for yourself or a family member, it won’t recognize the device as still turned on. You have to turn off the device, more to a diff screen in the app and move back to device screen in the app and then turn on the device - then the app will recognize it as turned on.Reading - takes 25 seconds and if it cant get a reading it will restart the 25 seconds and if it can’t get the reading again, you have to restart (turn off and on- as noted above). Sometimes its read successfully at first try and sometimes it doesn’t. Had it for 3 months now and I still cannot figure out why it works and why it doesn’t -“lightly place your thumb” its says but again its hit or miss.Note: This review is updated based on the 2nd device they sent me because I though the first device was just faulty but the 2nd device have the same above issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Useful addition to my fitness monitoring devices. *by F***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2016* The MOCAheart offers a nice concept. Initially it will not pair with my Samsung S7 Edge. I installed the Android app, and while setting up the account, the app would constantly crash and would not let me change the gender to Male. But it didn't matter because I could not pair the two devices. I thought of trying to pair with my iPad only to find that there is no iPad app. However, I was able to install the iPhone app on the iPad and it paired with out problems. I also installed the app on an Android 5 device. The MOCAheart worked perfectly with that device as well.Using the iPad and the Android 5 device, the device worked well and gave consistent readings that compared with a Pulse Oximeter that I have.With assistance from helpful MOCAheart support, I was able to get the device to work with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, though the connectivity occasionally requires disabling and enabling Bluetooth on my phone.
