I use a Simple serum straight after and it doesn't sting or anything. I use this roller 5 times a week no problem. It's vitally important that you clean the roller after use and use 70% alcohol solution to sterilise it. For under £10 I think this is great value for money. Certainly it's having a more noticeable effect than most face creams, which usually cost a lot more. And the alcohol spray is just a few pounds too. The only negative is this roller squeaks like mad when you use it.
