This is a small, lightweight serving tray, or dinner tray if you like to watch tv and eat.  The bottom is quite thin, but if you aren't rough with it it should last.  It is a nicely finished piece and is very attractive (not sure where the one reviewer gets that it's not real wood. . .? Sure seems like it to me).  The only complaint I have about it is I store it standing on its side to save space, and the rivets keep it from standing straight up, since they are round.  Other than that, this is a very nice piece.

It's a nice sturdy tray that is a close match to the built-in cabinets in our den.  It will also look great on my large cocktail ottoman.  also purchased on Amazon - Metropolitan Beige Fabric Ottoman
