Extremely vibrant, easy to mix with water for various washes of lighter shades and mix perfectly together. I have had these watercolors for a week and have painted a few times with them and swatched them, so they have had time to dry in my plastic palette. A reviewer mentioned that they did not re-activate right, and I feel like perhaps that reviewer might have received a bad batch, as these respond to reactivation or even the tip of a wet brush in the dry as if the paint had never dried in the first place. (If that makes sense?) I have used only the tiniest drops to get several paintings and mixings, which is excellent, as I can see that these paints will outlast my pans much longer. I am impressed with these, very much so, and hope to be able to slowly afford to add more of them to my collection as time goes on.
