There has been a high pitch sound since we purchased it. Can only compare to a harddrive spinning. We thought the Playstation or Wii or some other console was on bit it's the Power Port. IM glad I was right next to it while working on things or else I'm sure my room/house would have caught fire. Be careful, I actually liked it but considering that it burned the bottom plastic and USB ports stopped working I don't recommend charging all devices at one time, use 1 or 2 ports and save yourself the headache and worry. ### ⭐ Damn Amazon Lightning Deal! *by N***A on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2017* This thing is terrible! I bought this item during an Amazon lightning deal to use on my side of our bed since I do not have an outlet on my side. I used it only a few weeks before it started shorting out. I tried different wall outlets and even bought a new charger cord for my phone thinking maybe it was part of the problem. It wasn't and now everything I try to use in it shorts out. Really stinks that it doesn't work correctly. I will stay far away from this brand in the future.
