Yes this correct. The SpeedE II is intended for use with only insulated blades. Theses are on 6mm stock so 1/4" will not work with this. The biggest reason for this is if it did accept 1/4" bits and bit holders alike it would defeat the point of the tool being insulated and would not pass the requirements of being an insulated tool. **Q: Are the bits slimline ?
