The masks press in my nose a little, they run from about the bridge of my nose to the bottom of my chin when my mouth is closed.The threads are tightly knitted creating a harder barrier to breath through which means... it's working. The cloth itself is thick with a soft feel.It is only 2 layers of the same material which isn't the absolute best based on the recent studies. The craftsmanship is solid, and the shape fits around my nose well without a nose bridge wire. The elastic material for the ties is helpful, as they keep the mask securely around my face, even when moving about, putting my sunglasses on, or taking them off.My only disappointment is that the photo of a man in a ball cap shows that the mask comes with a small buckle to cinch the straps together, similar to what you often find on a lanyard for sunglasses. One of the Q&A answers confirmed that this piece comes with the mask. While I don't rely on Q&A answers alone, combined with the product photo, I expected this piece to be included. Material is stretchy and mask is very gentle on the face. HOWEVER, if you need to speak to other people for a living (as I do), be warned that this material is extremely thick.
