The term "warm white" is made in relative comparison to our cool white versions, but these lamps may not be as warm as the conventional incandescent counterparts they are meant to replace. Beam angle is defined as the angle from center of beam to the point of half brightness of center beam, multiplied by two. Where a power adapter (ballast) is used to down-step line voltage (120V AC) to low voltage, a magnetic-based adapter or one specifically designed for LEDs is required for proper operation. Electronically controlled adapters for use with halogens will not work with our lamps and may result in dimming, flickering, or non-function. Most of the other replacement bulbs I tried, or looked at, were too bright and/or the temperature was blueish (daylight balanced). I wanted an LED that was very similar in brightness and had the warm temperature that what I'm accustomed to in the RV (and my home). These lights fit perfect and were a good bargain. I replaced every light in my rig, they hardly drain the battery when dry camping compared to the old bulbs.
