Wire-electrode cutting Die sets makes the crimping more Accurate and precise a.working for molex connectors 1. Unlock tool so that the mouth is open 2. place the pin in the jaws with the tab still attached(it can be used as a gauge so you get consistent crimp lengths) 3. Squeeze jaws slowly (you want to hear it click a couple of times) to hold the pin 4. Insert stripped wire (you want to push it in til the insulation clears the first tabs) 5. Squeeze the jaws the rest of the way til the tool releases 6. Remove crimped connector & wire (remember to remove tab) 7. Insert connector(s) into housing pushing til they lock in.b.It works perfectlywith 2.54mm for Dupont type pins (used for Arduino).you can use to crimp custom servo connectors, which are pretty much the same.c.How do you adjust the pressure in these to the lowest setting?turn the dial all the way to the minus.you loosen up the screw over the adjustment dial & adjust the tension setting.
