I don't think the lids are dishwasher or microwave safe even though marketed as such. My lids have warped in the dishwasher heat and don't fit as well anymore - really have a to push to get them on. They stack well in refrigerator and also have an attractive color. Only issue I have had and why I didn't give 5 stars is because the day I unpacked them and opened each lid to remove wrapping, one of the plastic snaps fell off and I had trouble putting it back on. It would keep falling off every time I opened it and I would keep putting it in place. It may have finally worked but I think in the long run it will just happen again. See through glass, heavy duty glass and very pretty for the inside of your fridge, dishwasher safe too. I purchased these because I like to add a little PAZAZZ into my life. We went organic several years ago and so weekly I purchase vegetables, bring them home, disinfect them, cut them up so they are ready to use and put them inside these containers. You get three oblong and three square different sized glassware and they stack on top of each other saving space. Perfect for anything u want to put inside them. I have ready vegetables for dinner, breakfast omelettes and other breakfast items, snacking on, you name it. They do not spill at all u can take them out and put them in filled with no problem, they help keep your food lasting longer. Yes, I recommend these beautiful containers. I purchased two sets and plan to purchase even more.
