That being said this thing is tiny, has a wide range of sound, and has fit my needs well. It doesn't come with a power supply and doesn't take a 9v either. It's heavy for its size metal housing the 1/4s fit nice and tight. For less than 20$ it's a great buy. I'm sure it's not as great as a 100$ flanger, but if your looking for a cheap pedal for your garage band stop reading this and buy it.Edit—>Well over two years later I use it weekly stomp button shows wear. But still functions great. 1/4 inputs are still good. I recently had two flangers and kept this one is that says anything. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great deal. Great pedal. *by U***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2017* I bought this on a whim for < $25. A few months ago I bought a TC Electronics Vortex flanger pedal for about $109. I never really got a sound I loved from the Vortex. But I loved the ATR-5 almost instantly.I think the Vortex is technically more versatile, but not a lot of usable options (in my opinion). This pedal does what it does very well. I think it's an imitation of an EHX Electric Mistress.I don't know that it makes a difference, but I also picked up a Boss DS-1 and I used them together. I haven't used the Vortex with the DS-1. It may be that the hard clipping distortion is what makes the difference with a flanger. But in any case it is still 4x less expensive.
