It holds up to it's reputation. I did get a little sun, but was not burned at all. I put on liberally prior to going outside and again every few hours. I used the spray on my back where I couldn't reach it and once I had sand on my feet, it was easier to apply than the lotion. I used about 1.5 of each product for 7 days at the beach outside in the sun the whole trip. I would highly recommend this product, especially for kids. It held up to being in the water and keeping me from getting burned. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great *by T***M on November 16, 2019* Usually we just apply once and seems to last all day. No real smell to it and we like how it's not greasy like a lot of other lotions. Not much of a scent either. I have also used the gel and I find it kind of not really sticky but, yeah, sticky and annoying.
