A little bit like a plastic grocery sack

Can you wash these and reuse??

I would say no. They are sprayed aluminum on 1 side, so washing would remove this, leaving only a plastic sheet, which would not keep you warm.

What is the mil thickness of this compared to the regular ddity mylar sheet?

One of the product images says that they are 28 micrometers thick. That's about 1 mil. I've seen other ads claiming that the cheaper space blankets are 12 micrometers. This plastic is noticeably stronger than the polyethylene used in trash bags and painter's drop cloths.

I know they are for outdoor use but any reason they couldn't be used as a travel blanket when flying?

While I've not experienced an emergency where I used these particular mylar blankets, I do recall that earlier versions of the disposable shiny mylar blankets were quite "crinkly," that is they were noisy. If these create that same annoying noise, your fellow passengers my not enjoy that disturbance. If, indeed, they are silent then their use aboard an airplane should be okay.
