The polyurethane band that came with it was less than comfortable and on a watch I'd hoped to use as a "beater". This NATO strap was nicer than expected and really makes the watch look nice. So far it's far more confortable than the polyurethane strap. The rings are solid and the edges are finished well. This will no doubt last a while. I have a nine inch wrist and the band length is about right. Would actually prefer a slightly longer band to loop back through the rings but it looks good as is.
