The incoming power block was soldered on backwards. In this configuration the digital countdown display is basically blocking the DCV input connection. I went ahead and snaked the 12v power wire into the connector. If I wasn't pressed for time I would have sent this unit back.The unit itself works great. It's so easy to set the desired countdown time with the 2 button controls.
