The length of the sample can be between 1 and 16 beats. Or you can choose "Endless recording": in this case you will choose the length of the sample. I don't know what is the maximum length in seconds (I never tried to go to the limit), but because it says endless recording and this is a sample you want and not a full song to be recorded, it should not be an issue. **Q: Does this mixer come with Traktor software?** A: It used to come with one 4 years back (when I bought it) but Traktor has upgraded to much advanced level at this point.
