Glasgarten didn't tell me they changed from Pearls to Bites when they sent me their latest shipment and I didn't notice when I shipped out my first few shipments. You can request a return if you'd like, or just use it as it is the same ingredients. Sorry for this error. **Q: Does it contain calcium and does this replace the super vegie aticks i feed them now?** A: The list of ingredients on the container is the same as what the product says (non-specific, just "minerals"). I assume it contains calcium since that is one of the more important minerals for shrimp. I think it is unlikely that it would replace the super veggie sticks, as these are white cylinders so they likely don't contain a lot of veggies. **Q: Does this food increase gh or kh? If so to what numbers?** A: Not in my experience. Doesn’t seem to impact pH either. If it does in either case, it’s undetectable by my testing methods. I feed sparingly though. If you overfeed with it or added a ton I imagine it might impact your parameters but I don’t know for certain. I think it’s great stuff and so do my shrimp & snails 🦐 🐌😺 **Q: Will fish eat these before snails ever get a chance?** A: I break a bite in smaller pieces and when I add it to the tank the fish eat the finer crumbs while the larger pieces sink to the bottom. The snails definitely get their share but the fish get to enjoy them too.
