There was no smell that is usually associated with Plastic or even some other silicone items that I have purchased. These are small, think Actual Gummy bears, so if you are looking for a larger mold, you might want to look somewhere else.I love that there were 4 molds so that we can make different colors of gummy bears at the same time. The droppers are nice too so that we can easily fill the molds. Everything came well packaged in a neat and tiny little kit.
