How can it be keto friendly at 8 carbs per 2 teaspoons? Sugar has that.** A: It’s keto-friendly because it’s zero net carbs. Check out the back of the package. It explains it. It’s 8 total grams of carbs minus 6 grams of Erythritol minus 2 grams of Allulose. That gets you to 0 Net Carbs. I’ve lost 50 pounds on the keto diet and I only work off of net carbs. It’s the net that matters the most. **Q: Does this sweetener leave a metallic aftertaste on the toungue?** A: Kind of, but not as bad as some. It's a very fine granular type. If I use too much is when you get that aftertaste. You have to be slow in using to find the right amount for your taste. **Q: Can i use this to make old fashioned cooked fudge? Previous sweeteners of this type have been recommended for baking only, so I'm still hesitant.** A: I bought this sweetener to make an English toffee recipe , give it a try and use a candy thermometer. The name is ,Lakanto Golden Monk Fruit Sweetener with Erythritol.
