I mix it the canned food (zero starch, zero grains, all meat-based), until the green color blends with the rest of the food.They don't mind the taste, and in fact they've associated the smell of spirulina with "lunch time!"How much to mix with each meal depends on your dog's weight and needs. Start low and work your way up if you wish to give it a try. Give it about one or two months to see a difference.Make sure to keep the powder sealed tightly in the bottle, and do not let moisture or humidity get inside. Throw in an extra desiccant packet to keep it fresher for longer!Unlike other "greens", spirulina is easily digestible for dogs, since it does not contain hard cell walls (such as the case with chlorella) nor does it contain much insoluble fiber.
