It is solid and it is sound.This stand holds my old 55" 2K (HD) TV solidly and with no worry.If you have put a TV stand together before then you will find this easy to construct. The stand comes with all the bits and pieces needed, including the bolts for the TV, which you are likely to already have.Although this is nnot supposed to be for anything larger than a 55" I do suspect it could probably hold a slightly larger TV.I am going to recommend this TV stand as although there is really little one can say about such a product this is well made, it is heavy and it does the job as required.
