The "brushed aluminum" finish was scratched by a key in my pocket, but after a month of use it's still only one scratch. Any reviews saying it doesn't fit the phone are wrong or they were trying it on the wrong phone. It fits my tl like a glove. Overall a good case and it would be a great case if the finish hadn't scratched. It did the job of covering the phone and probably would have protected it but the outer hard case did not fit the phone. One of the corners was not sitting in the case even with the other one. It may have been the rubber casing you put on prior to the hard case that caused this but I did not like it.
