Originally had a sterling silver replacement but it tended to get scratched over time and wanted something that would hold up. Decided to try Tungsten, even though I know they can "break" more easily. He's been wearing it for 4 months now and it still looks like new! It's a great looking ring and Tungsten does not show any wear and tear. My husband works on computers so his job doesn't tend to put a lot of "stress" on the ring but he does wear it to work out (lifting weights,etc) and so far so good. Even if we ran into any problems I would certainly repurchase this ring for the look and price. My husband has never wore any jewelry other than his wedding ring and he said the ring was comfortable. Just BE AWARE... (I was not), Tungsten rings are sized differently so when I ordered it in the same size as his wedding ring it was way too big.
