He said this thing did the trick to scratch the itch. He doesn't have to continually prod.It is quality, and I like that I don't have to spend so much onq-tips. It does seem to scrape all that gunk and dead skin out. He did mention that the satisfying feeling of a cotton q-tip in the ear, the kind that makes you go dumb for a minute, is not something the spoolie insturment is good at.Also in the instructions it warns you not to accidentally injure yourself by pushing to far or hard on the eardrum. I thought to myself, YES! finally something that will actually help me get this kids ears clean! I was pleased by the photos that the one tool has a scoop like end and the other is more like a metal q-tip/honeycomb. I was able to use this other night on him and it worked PERFECTLY! I am so glad i bought this kit! I was able to get so much wax out with this!
