And I emphasize LITTLE. I must not have read the description well, because I most certainly expected it to be bigger. However, it is adorable in it's miniature size. The pages are not white, another thing I didn't expect. They're sort tannish bamboo color. I guess to match the cover and pen. I really would have preferred them to be white, but the adorableness of the actual journal and matching pen makes up for the tan-beige pages. This is perfect for writing lists, keeping in the purse or desk drawer to jot down notes and other writing needs that don't require you to have too much space to write them. If you use it as a diary type journal, you'd better either lead a very boring life or plan to purchase another one, because I doubt you could squeeze in much more than "survived today, it was good, went to park" as entries for 365 days. Although I received mine at a discount in exchange for a fair and honest review I would have no issue with buying another one aft full price. In fact I'm considering giving them as gifts (along with gel pens) since it is so cute.
