Review: Excellent design and does a great job! - Fantastic bias lighting kit! Comes with a dimmer, and these LEDs are the kind with a clear coating over the whole strip instead of being exposed. The strip itself has a hook-and-loop (Velcro-like) backing, and the kit comes with another strip with the corresponding hook-and-loop surface, making it possible to remove and replace the LED strip easily. The dimmer works very well, and it all powers directly from a USB port on your monitor or TV. When you turn on the screen, the bias lighting automatically comes on, too. Pretty cool. The lighting itself is a nice, soft white that, without measuring, seems to be 6500k as advertised. The end effect is a much better experience looking at my computer monitor. Fewer headaches and less eye strain, plus it makes the colors seem to "pop" more and the contrast seem more pleasing. Five stars! This is one of the better-designed bias lighting kits I've seen! My only complaint is that the part where the cable meets the strip is a bit rigid and sticks out a bit if you run the strip right to the edge of your monitor, but that can be re-adjusted thanks to the hook-and-loop strip.
