Car makers never build anything alike. Reach under the seats of your vehicle and see if there are any non-moving lips or edges underneath. After experimenting, I was able to find an acceptable place to hook on the clips and now the dog barrier works just fine. Sometimes we have to get a bit creative when instructions are not working for us. I really dislike having to return an item I like, so I try to find alternative solutions. Makes me feel great (and smart) when it works! **Q: Is the top solid or will it bend under weight? My pup loves to flop over the top of the bungee style one I currently have.** A: It is not solid in that sense. The non-mesh parts are a nylon fabric similar to the material use in a backpack. If your dog is tall enough to reach the top of the screen (equal to the height of the back of your front seats) then "flopping over" is definitely a possibility and the material will bend. **Q: Does it have storage pouches??** A: No it does not have storage pouches **Q: It didn't come with instructions how do I put it together** A: The top two straps go around each of the inside headrest supports. For the bottom straps slide them around the seat rails or brackets.
