I was lucky that my wife has an iPhone, otherwise my experience would have been awful! You need the app to see the pictures and videos you take in real time, that's why it's so important! I've used it for photos and videos, and it's a reliable product. Would benefit from having a higher resolution, as when you compare the quality with, say, a GoPro camera, it doesn't look like HD, even if you could argue that it's just a perception issue and not a technical one. However, I don't think there's anything better yet out there in this same price range. This camera did the trick perfectly! I was a little hesitant at first but once the camera arrived I was so pleased with it. It was so simple to use. We just had to plug it in to any computer and select it as our designated camera. That’s it! One bonus we were not counting on was the microphone, or should I say microphones. It has built in microphones that picked up the audio very well and made everyone able to be heard as well as seen.
