Not only is it Unbreakable it's also a little deeper so it actually will accomodate a one pound block unlike the porcelain model which is half an inch too shallow so you have to cut the block and store the piece for later which I find to be false representation. Fact is even this one could be a quarter inch deeper but it's okay even though a bit of a tight fit.
