Still, like the others describe and after doing all of this preparation very carefully, we still have quite a few small bubbles/pulls/lifts which are very visible from the outside. From the inside it looks fine but close up from the outside the mirrored side looks terrible. The process for installation is not hard. I believe the problem is that the film is too thin. If the film were thicker, it would lay better and the bubbles would resolve without ripping the film. Regardless I love the way it turned out on our shower door. I would use it everywhere if it was possible to eliminate the bubbles. I used a different brand previously, and now I am regretting not using the prior brand. The previuusly used brand was a 35 and this brand is a 15%. The previous brand is much darker then this brand and it is suppose to be much darker (only in their dreams). It ripped quite easily when you were trying to cut it with the cutter and also they enclosed a plastic tool for smoothing out the bubbles that was hard plastic on one side and covered with a material of some sort on the other. BOTH sides scratched the film even using a gentle touch and using it correctly.
