I clicked on this because the 32.8ft version said waterproof, but when I received the 100ft variety, the box says right on the front "Non-waterproof." **Q: How far apart are the LEDs?** A: The current product has 30 LEDs per meter 150 total in 5 meters.They are cuttable about every 4 inches and spaced every 1 5/16” inch apart. **Q: i bought these lights probably around two weeks ago, they fell of my wall and now they dont work. please help?** A: It was frustrating for us too, but I had to make some modifications. First, I cut narrow strips of colorful duct tape and wrapped the light strip and connection together so they couldn't detach. Next, I put two thin nails in the crown molding and used picture hanging wire to wrap the nails and then around the until that connects the lights. This takes the weight off of the unit which is so heavy and the lights have stayed in place. I wish I could include a photo. **Q: can I use one remote for both strips? if they are the same thing or how do I connect to the same source?** A: There should be a connection cable on each side of he strip lights. And yes once you connect the light together you can use the same remote. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Needed to replace light strip on a RV, here is how I used these great upgraded lights *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2020* Just installed these yesterday so this review is not based on long-term usage. I needed to replace a light strip under the awning on my RV/Camper. Original lights were only white and about part of them did not work. Selected these lights to add the options of changing colors and dimming. The original light circuit is 12V and controlled, on/off, with a light switch. I’ve seen questions about connecting these to a 12V battery (on a boat or car) and the answer was YES, but didn’t address HOW. You must use the IR Receiver, no choice, the included Power Adapter provides it with the 12V through a cord with a special plug, I didn’t need power supply, but did need the cord that connected it to the IR Receiver. With the Power Adapter “Not Plugged in” I cut the cord off, leaving just a couple of inches connected to the brick. Used a voltmeter to confirm the polarity of the wires + (red), – (white). Cut the cord on the RV going to the old lights, verified polarity of them + (Red), - (Black). Splice wires appropriately, plugged the cord into the IR Receiver and plugged the light in (Still on spool) turned on the switch, turned on the lights by the remote. Everything worked. Cool having so many options. Another thing cool is when you turn the lights off and on, by the light switch, these lights save the setting. After confirming proper operation, I continued the installation. Will not bore you with these details. Incredibly happy with the results, I’m going to be the envy of the campground.
