## Overview

The Lido Mounts LM-100 is a versatile vent mount designed specifically for horizontal vent louvres, featuring an AMPS plate for easy attachment of remote heads. Please note, it is not compatible with vertical vents or large circular vents found in certain vehicle models.

## Description

Vent mount with AMPS pattern plate. Great for attaching remote head brackets for quick release.In some vehicles it is almost impossible to find a place to mount a radio, or remote control head. In many situations the vent is the perfect place. It is usually within arms reach for easy control of the rig.The vent mount has a 4 hole amps pattern that can be attached to  Alinco, Icom, Kenwood and Yaesu remote head brackets. Please see photo of the YSK-8900 and the Yaesu FT-8900 in the photo.Our vent mount can be swiveled 360 degress for optimal viewing, and can be tightend easily with the tightening ring.Our vent mount can be installed or removed in seconds. It will fit most horizontal vent louvres. It does NOT work on vertical vents OR the large circular vents like those found in Mustangs and PT Cruisers.

I was using a flexible mount that bolts to the floor of the car, but it shook a lot. Really annoying. This mount is quite stable.

    Careful - Poor Description of Compatibility

Website explains "It does not work on the large circular vents like those found in Mustangs and PT Cruisers", but doesn't say a word about verticle vents.  It's only after the item arrives that the instructions say  "NOT COMPATIBLE with VERTICAL or circular vents".  It would have been nice to find out before I ordered it!  On the other end, the bracket doesn't fit the Kenwood TM-V71.  I'm 0 for 2.  Time to send it back.Next time I'll wait for someone else to confirm compatibility, either through review or Q&A.
