I had a professional audio/video company install mine along with other equipment. I bought Behringer Pro Mixer at their recommendation, and it works beautifully for our needs. **Q: Does this mixer have the hum like the 1000 model** A: If your DX-1000 had hum, it was NOT the fault of the unit. Probably a ground loop or something similar. I owned and used a DX-1000 for several years and never had a problem. Also, the DX-2000 doesn't have hum problems either, since that's the mixer I now use in my studio. **Q: How do I adjust the volume level of each channel's FX send output?** A: If I recall, this is a fixed output. You would have to control level on the input. **Q: Is there any way to control reverb for the mics… can I get an add on that would allow me to? Also, is there a way to hook up more than two mics?** A: You would have to add an external reverb unit to this mixer. I don't not sure if there are any mic adapters that would work on the other channels. I chose this mixer because It had at least two mic inputs.
