No weird smell or feeling. Glides on easily like any other lip balm however I’m happy and at peace knowing my son is using one less chemical filled product. He left on in his jeans and I found it in the dryer so all the balm got stuck in the cap, however I kept it and use my pinky to scoop it out and apply it to my lips and works just fine.
