Is it processed at a facility that also processes peanuts & tree nuts?** A: I bought this being well aware that I could not assume that this product was peanut and tree not free. There is no claim that the processing facility is dedicated to leaving out anything. When it arrived I opened the first jar and was surprised because it was mainly a viscuous liquid, and I wondered if I had gotten a defective product or if the bargain was because it was inferior...boy, was I naive!I had always gotten my tahini from the grocer, paid double this price, and it was mostly a solid brick of stuff I had to deal with. I like this so much better...it still has the flavor and it's actually able to be measured and used in recipes so I find many more opportunities to use tahini now that I have it. If you have, you know the fragrant smell. That's what I did when I opened the sealer on top--I sniffed but couldn't smell anything at all. So I thought I might taste it when I eat it. After stirring it for a few minutes, I put a little in my mouth. All I tasted was the oily bitterness. No sesame fragrance at all. Now I feel guilty for buying a pack of four because I don't think I can finish them. Nor could I return them because it's a little too late.
